Mercy Hernandez is an author, storyteller, podcast host, and lifelong lover of books. Her writing is inspired by the extraordinary stories found within ordinary lives - stories of love, resilience, courage, family, and the unexpected paths that shape us.
For more than fifteen years, Mercy co-founded and led The Early Development of Global Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for children around the world. Her work across cultures has deepened her appreciation for the connections and stories that unite us all.
Mercy is currently completing her debut novel, A Girl Against All Odds, a romance inspired by a true story. The novel follows Virginia, whose chance meeting with the love of her life unfolds into a decades-long journey of love, faith, and resilience.
She is also the co-host of the Books & Martinis Podcast and Book Club, where she interviews authors, writers, and voice actors while connecting with a growing community of passionate readers.
She lives between Tennessee and Florida with her husband of more than forty years and is embracing what she calls her “third life” - a season of new beginnings, creativity, and pursuing lifelong dreams.
